Honed

Honing is a process by which 1/16" of the block face is ground off to reveal the aggregate giving a smooth almost polished look. Honing block is a cost effective way to finish a CMU wall, the honed face results in a finished product. Many schools opt for a honed block for this very reason.

Split

Our split face bock can be manufactured in any color we produce. Various sizes, shapes, and faces can be split to give an extra dimension to your building. The splitting process exposes the aggregate to reveal a speckled look. Numerous aggregate combinations can enhance the look of any block color.

Kerfed

Kerfing- is a vertical score in the face of the block. A kerf can be added during the manufacturing process or can be cut into the face post production. Each face can have 1-5 kerfs. 1 or 2 kerfs can be placed on the end of an 8X8X16 for corners.

Fluted

A flute protrudes from the face of the block, is typically a split texture, and comes in various widths. Fluted block can be manufactured in any block color. A flute can be added to the face on any block size, and corners are usually able to be produced as well.
